Terms of Service
Last updated: April 29, 2026
1. Agreement
By using MetaForge ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. We may update these terms occasionally; continued use after changes means you accept them.
2. What MetaForge does
MetaForge is a software-as-a-service tool that uses AI to generate SEO meta tags, Open Graph tags, and Twitter card metadata based on a description of your webpage. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. You're responsible for reviewing and approving any generated content before using it on your site.
3. Accounts
You can use the Service anonymously for a limited number of generations per day. To exceed that limit or access paid features, you'll need an account. You're responsible for keeping your login secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard or by emailing us — cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial months, but if something goes wrong on our end, reach out and we'll make it right.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your card details on our servers.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use MetaForge to generate content that's illegal, deceptive, fraudulent, or designed to harm others. Don't try to break, scrape, or overload the Service. Don't resell access without our written permission. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Your content
You own the meta tags you generate. We don't claim any rights to your inputs or outputs. We may store your generation history to provide the Service, and we may use aggregate, anonymized data to improve the product.
7. AI-generated content
Our generations come from a large language model. Outputs may occasionally contain errors, awkward phrasing, or irrelevant suggestions. Always review generated content before publishing. We're not liable for SEO outcomes — search engine rankings depend on many factors outside our control.
8. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but can't guarantee the Service will always be available. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Anthropic API, Supabase, Stripe, Vercel), and unforeseen issues may cause downtime. We're not liable for lost time or revenue from outages.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaForge's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past three months. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Termination
You can stop using MetaForge anytime. We can also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your access ends but provisions that should reasonably survive — like ownership of content, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution — will continue.
